We're at the end of a very busy day. Spent a lot of time touring around (by open-top tourist bus and walking) and seeing the famous Washington landmarks - the Pentagon, Washington Monument, Capitol, the White House, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Arlington Cemetery and others. Also went to the Space Museum and another Madam Tussauds (which featured all the Presidents of the USA) - very good. Much to everyone's amusement, as we were walking through Madam Tussauds, I almost walked in front of someone taking a photo, so I stepped back and apologised, whereupon all the family collapsed laughing. Seems the photographer was a wax model taking a photo of another wax character!!! Trust grandma!! Another attraction I really enjoyed was the Crime Museum.
